Foundation receives award for flood work
CEDAR RAPIDS - The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation was awarded the Association of Fundraising Professionals' (AFP) 2012 Award for Outstanding Foundation last night. Les Garner, president and CEO of the GCRCF, accepted the award in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The GCRCF says it has awarded more than $14 million in flood-related grants to help more than 300 organizations since 2008.
