CEDAR RAPIDS - Several bottles of dish soap were poured into the fountain at Market Place on First Wednesday morning. Foam built up in the fountain and large soap foam pieces were blowing across First Avenue NE and Collins Road NE.
Cedar Rapids police were on scene, and Market Place management recovered multiple empty bottles of dish soap.
Public safety spokesman Greg Buelow said the bubbles came close to entering traffic on First Avenue and a representative from the Market Place asked to file a criminal mischief report.
