Fire damages vacant Keota home
A vacant Keota home was destroyed by fire early Sunday.
Fire Chief Mike Detweiler said the home at 211 North Ellis Street was completely involved, with flames coming out every window, when firefighters before 2 a.m. They prevented the fire from spreading, but the building was a total loss, Detweiler said.
The fire's cause wasn't immediately known, and an investigation continues.
