FAYETTE COUNTY – A traffic stop turned into a foot chase that lasted several minutes after authorities say the driver tried to flee but struck a snow bank.
Robert Bark, 28, of Monona, was arrested and charged with reckless driving, driving with a suspended license and interference with officials acts.
The Fayette County Sheriff's Office says a deputy attempted to stop Bark for a traffic violation when he attempted to turn his vehicle into a farm drive but struck a snow bank. The foot chase then began, and Bark was later apprehended.
He is currently in jail awaiting an initial appearance in court.
The Clayton County Sheriff's Office and the Strawberry Point Police Department assisted the Fayette County deputies.
