Customers who purchased a vehicle through Family Auto Center in Cedar Rapids are speaking out about the dealership's closing.
Nicole Kanetomo and her boyfriend purchased a car recently and have been trying to reach the dealership for weeks.
When they call, they get an answering machine that does not allow them to leave a message.
The couple tells KCRG-Tv9 they have their first car payment due tomorrow and have not been able to reach the dealership.
The general manager of Family Auto Center confirms both stores in Cedar Rapids and Toledo are closed.
They are working with a local bank to get issues resolved as soon as possible.
A local towing company moved most of the vehicles out of the Cedar Rapids location to its impound lot.
