Ernst sets March 17 town hall in Cedar Rapids
DES MOINES - Sen. Joni Ernst has scheduled a town hall on Friday, March 17 - St. Patrick's Day - in Cedar Rapids.
The freshman Republican is to meet with citizens at noon in Sinclair Auditorium at Coe College, 1220 First Ave. NE.
At 5 p.m., she plans to host another town hall at Sheslow Auditorium at Drake University in Des Moines.
The meetings, part of her annual 99-county tour, are open to the public.
Her Cedar Rapids town hall takes place the same day as the 42nd annual SaPaDaPaSo parade, scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. in downtown.
