Dubuque School Board terminates Sageville Principal's contract

During an emergency meeting held Saturday morning, the Dubuque School Board unanimously agreed to terminate Bob Burke's contract as Principal of Sageville Elementary. Burke has five days to appeal.
“Because there has been an admission of guilt by Mr. Burke, I am recommending the Board of Education consider termination of his administrative contract,” said Superintendent Dr. Larie Godinez.
Godinez urges parents to contact the U.S. Attorney's Office if they have questions or information about this case. She said the U.S. Attorney has prohibited the Dubuque School District from releasing any more information.
