Dubuque man pleads not guilty to kidnapping, sexual assault

A Dubuque man accused of kidnapping and sexual assault pleaded not guilty Monday.

Police arrested 33-year-old Scott Robinson earlier this month after they say they caught him just before he was about to rape a woman.

Investigators say the incident happened inside Robinson's apartment on 760 Fremont Ave. Oct. 8.

Robinson's attorney, Steven Drahozal, appeared in court Monday on Robinson's behalf.

Robinson's next court appearance is set for Oct. 31.
