Dubuque assistant principal makes initial appearance
Dubuque Hempstead's assistant principal is behind bars and made an initial court appearance on Wednesday.
Police arrested Shane Oswald Tuesday after more than a month-long investigation. He is charged with sexual exploitation by a school employee; giving a controlled substance to someone under 18; and giving alcohol to person under the legal age.
New details emerged in court about the charges against Shane Oswald as appeared in court via video phone. The judge said the controlled substance Oswald is accused of giving a student is Hydrocodone.
