Dry Goods coming to Coral Ridge Mall

Women's clothing store Dry Goods will be opening its second Iowa location at Coral Ridge Mall in Coralville this November, said Monica Nadeau, the mall's general manager.

The store, which is a unit of Davenport-based Von Maur department store, will be about 3,000 square feet.

"We're excited because there aren't many in the country and this is a new concept (Von Maur is) rolling out," Nadeau said.

There are only eight Dry Goods stores in the country, in Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Dry Goods sells women's clothing, accessories and jewelry. The website said the company created the store "to bring our tradition of old-fashioned customer service to a new generation of customers.

There are 27 Von Maur department stores across 11 states, including a new location at the Iowa River Landing, which opened in July.
