Driver hurt when van hits light pole in Cedar Rapids
A section of 19th Street SE was closed for a short time Thursday night after a minivan lost control and knocked over a pole around 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of 19th Street and Bever Avenue.
The driver of the van was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police on scene said it is unclear why the driver lost control.
