Authorities say a man was injured after he lost control of his pickup and it vaulted into a house in Numa in southern Iowa.
The Appanoose County sheriff's office says Wade Peck, of Corydon, was thrown from the truck on Sunday.
The sheriff's office says Peck lost control of the truck on a curve. The truck crossed the center line and went into a ditch, where it hit an embankment and launched into the house. Officials say the truck was going to fast when it hit the corner of the house that it slid up the side and hit the roof. The truck ended up in a ditch in front of the house. Peck was found lying near the road.
Authorities say no one in the house was hurt.
