DiLeo commits to Central Michigan

CEDAR RAPIDS - Former Iowa City West basketball swingman David DiLeo has given a verbal commitment to play college ball next season for Central Michigan, the website Verbal Commits reported Tuesday night.
DiLeo is playing this season for New Hampton School prep school in New Hampshire. He averaged a team-high 15.3 points per game last season for West, which finished third in Class 4A at the state tournament.
The 6-foot-7 shooter averaged 12.4 points as a junior and also played as a sophomore. West won state championships both years.
