CRPD: 13 arrests following fight with a knife

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - A large fight involving rocks, bats and bricks put thirteen people behind bars in Cedar Rapids. Cedar Rapids police say several people were fighting at 232 20th St. NW around 5:30 p.m., Saturday.
One of the people had a knife and had to be tazed. That person along with 12 others are facing several charges including first degree burglary, disorderly conduct and interference with official acts. Police say the fight is a continuation of a conflict following the Cedar Rapids fireworks on the Fourth of July when several people were arrested.
Police say more information will be coming.
