Crews battle fire at Independence business

Crews were called to the Best Cob LLC facility at 1895 Bland Blvd. in Independence around 1:30 p.m. Friday for a reported fire.

Several Independence fire crews are on the scene.

The facility processes whole corn cobs for a variety of end uses.
