A woman from South English was killed Friday morning when her sport utility vehicle failed to make a curve on an ice-covered Iowa County highway and overturned in a ditch, authorities said.
Jessica Patch, 23, was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the 1999 Toyota 4Rrunner she was driving, according to a news release from the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office.
The one-vehicle crash happened just after 8:30 a.m. as Patch was eastbound on 325th Street — Highway F67 — near TT Avenue in rural North English, the news release stated.
