Crash near Decorah kills one teen, injures six others

One person was killed and six others injured in a rollover crash in Winneshiek County Wednesday night.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the driver of a vehicle carrying six other people failed to negotiate a curve and flipped into the ditch.
Joshua Evers, 18, of Rochester, Minn., was taken to the Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah, where he died.
The driver, Brenden Christensen, 18, of Winnebago, Minn., and five others, all ages 18 and 19, were taken to the ambulance for injuries. They included Bobby Wild, 19, of Lansing; Shenyse Tharp, 18, of Holy Cross; Trey Dylsin-Hillyer, 18, of Frost, Minn.; Keisha Kerr, 19, of Postville; and Kristin Easley, 19, of Preston, Minn.
The crash happened at around 9:15 p.m. at 200th Avenue and 245th Street in Decorah.
