Cousins’ murder trial pushed back

CEDAR RAPIDS - The trial for two cousins accused of killing Andre Herron has been rescheduled to July 9 in Linn County District Court.
Justin Ross, 18, of Cedar Rapids, and Donovan Ross, 19, of Hiawatha, have pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in the Nov. 26 shooting.
Justin Ross is accused of firing the fatal shot, a criminal complaint says, while Donovan Ross is accused of also shooting at Herron with the intent to kill him.
