Couple helps Dyersville man escape SUV just before fire

FARLEY - The Iowa State Patrol credits a couple for helping a Dyersville man get out of his sport-utility vehicle before it went up in flames.

According to the Dubuque Telegraph Herald, authorities say it happened Tuesday afternoon on U.S. Highway 20 west of Farley.

The couple stopped to help after they saw Mark Schuster's SUV go off the road and into a ditch.

The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the crash.
