Corridor companies listed in Inc. 5000

A number of Eastern Iowa companies are among the fastest-growing private businesses in the United States, according to Inc. Magazine.

The magazine ranked companies based on their annual revenue percentage growth from 2011 to 2014.

According to Inc., the fourth-fastest growing private company in Iowa is MediRevv, a health care revenue cycle management company founded in 2007.

'We were super excited to see (the listing,)” said MediRevv President and CEO Chris Klitgaard.

The Coralville-based company was ranked 1,379 on the overall Inc. 5000 list.

Klitgaard said the listing is a reflection of the hard work put in by MediRevv's employees.

'But to have this type of validation for the work that they are doing just goes a really long way,” Klitgaard said.

MediRevv is no stranger to the list. The company has been ranked in the Inc. 5000 every year since 2012, and was 1,966 last year.

'We were pleasantly surprised that we moved up on the list,” Klitgaard said. He said it's often harder for larger companies to show higher percentage growth.

Klitgaard said he attributes the higher spot to longer contracts with clients and the opening of more service lines, such as physician coding services. He said the company has not outgrown the market and has great community partners that help find qualified employees.

'We have access to phenomenal talent in the Corridor,” Klitgaard said.

Many other Corridor companies were listed on the Inc. 5000 as well, including Involta, Health Solutions, Compass Commercial Services, Clickstop, Ready Wireless and TrueNorth.
