Corbett's State of the City speech set for Feb. 24

Mayor Ron Corbett will give his State of the City speech on Wednesday, Feb. 24, in The Ballroom at the Crowne Plaza Five Seasons Hotel.

The event, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., will be sponsored by the local chapter of the League of Women Voters, Corbett said Monday afternoon.

Details of the event will be released later.

“There will no PowerPoints, not panel discussions,” Corbett said. “Just the mayor talking to the people.”
