Coralville’s Heartland Inn sold

The Heartland Inn in Coralville has new owners.

Paramount Lodging Advisors, the brokerage business behind the deal, announced the sale of the 169-room hotel Thursday.

The company was unable to immediately respond to questions about details of the sale, including ones about the inn's new owner and the sale price.

Located at 87 Second Street, just south of the Iowa River, the Heartland Inn is about two miles west of the University of Iowa's Kinnick Stadium.

The property, including its land and buildings, has an assessed value of about $7.5 million, according to the Johnson County Assessor.
