Coralville man charged with robbing Kum & Go

CORALVILLE - A Coralville man was arrested on robbery charges after police said he pointed a gun at a Kum & Go clerk and demanded money.
Brandon Lambert, 25, was charged with second-degree robbery.
According to the criminal complaint, Lambert entered the Kum & Go on First Avenue in Coralville at about 10:20 p.m. Sunday with his face concealed by glasses and bandannas. He pointed a gun at the clerk and a customer, demanding money from the customer and the clerk's cash register. The suspect also left with several cartons of cigarettes, according to the complaint.
Second-degree robbery is a Class C felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
