Coral Ridge Mall seeks to fill spot vacated by Bennigan's

The Coral Ridge Mall has lost its largest attached restaurant and is looking at both local and chain restaurants to fill the vacant space.
Bennigan's left the 8,000 square foot space at the end of January due to an expired lease. Bruce Kinseth, the restaurant owner, could not be reached for comment on further reasons for the departure.
There are three restaurant candidates in contention to join the mall. But Monica Nadeu, Coral Ridge Mall general manager, would not specify which restaurants.
In addition to the restaurant changes, the mall will see a new retailer. Journeys will relocate to a space between Vanity and Dry Goods, while Journeys Kidz will fill its former space across from Scheel's.
