Conroy man killed in Johnson County crash
An Iowa County man is dead after a single-vehicle rollover accident near Oxford on Tuesday.
James A. Rudin, 66, of Conroy, died when his pickup left the roadway on Rhine Creek Way, east of Johnson-Iowa Road around 3 p.m., according to the Iowa State Patrol. Authorities said Rudin was driving northwest around a curve when his pickup left the roadway and rolled, coming to rest on its top.
Troopers have not determined why the pickup left the road. Rudin was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is continuing.
