Area residents can enjoy several cultural institutions free of charge this weekend thanks to the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation.
The foundation is once again sponsoring free admission days to a dozen area arts and culture organizations on Saturday, Aug. 9, and Sunday, Aug. 10.
The goal of the event is to increase access and connections to arts and cultural institutions across Linn County, according to a foundation-issued news release. This year marks the second time the foundation has supported free admission days.
