COLD ... and staying that way in Eastern Iowa

Does your house look like this? You're not alone -- melting conditions have been few and far between around Eastern Iowa of late.
Cedar Rapids hit an official high of 35 on Feb. 5, but the "warmth" only lasted one day. The last previous day above freezing was Jan. 24, which saw an official high of 35.
And there isn't much thawing in the forecast, at least for the next few days. Highs will only climb into the middle 20s through the middle of next week, before a forecast high of 30 next Thursday.
There are chances of snow through the weekend as well, including one possibility Thursday night into Friday and another chance late Saturday into Sunday.
When is spring again?
