Classic rock band Loverboy to headline Coralville’s 4thFest free concert

CORALVILLE - Coralville's annual Independence Day concert will keep with its classic rock theme with the announcement that Canadian band Loverboy will take the stage this summer.
City officials announced Monday that ‘80s band Loverboy will headline the 4thFest free concert at 8 p.m. July 3 in S.T. Morrison Park on Fifth Street west of the Coralville Public Library.
Loverboy has been putting on live shows for more than 30 years, with memorable songs such as 'Working for the Weekend,” 'Turn Me Loose,” and 'Lovin' Every Minute of It,”
The opening band will be announced at a later date.
The 4thFest concert is free to the public and part of Coralville's annual July Fourth celebration, which also includes a parade, carnival and fireworks.
Past 4thFest headliners have included Jefferson Starship and .38 Special.
