Clarence fire destroys farm buildings

Five Cedar County fire departments responded to a large outbuilding fire several miles south of Clarence at around 11:30 this morning. The blaze was mostly under control a couple of hours later.
The fire originated in a barn on an old dairy farm property and then spread to two other buildings including a hay barn.
A home on the property was not damaged, and no injuries were sustained.
Animals were in one of the buildings, but were able to get out unharmed, on-scene authorities said.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown. No foul play is suspected.
