City, hospitals plan Medical District press conference
The City of Cedar Rapids, Physicians Clinic of Iowa, Mercy Medical Center and St. Luke's Hospital will participate in a joint news conference Tuesday to talk about the creation of a new Cedar Rapids Medical District.
The location of the district and concept drawings will be unveiled.
In addition, there will be a major announcement about construction in the newly established district.
The news conference is planned for 11 a.m. at the Physicians Clinic of Iowa, 600 Seventh St. SE.
