Chemical fumes force Rockwell Collins employees to evacuate
Rockwell Collins evacuated employees of Building 107 off Blairs Ferry Road NE in Cedar Rapids after chemicals were mixed in a lab causing fumes to spread through the building.
Rockwell Collins spokeswoman Pam Tvrdy said the employees were evacuated as a precaution. Tvrdy said a hazardous materials team is evaluating the building before making a decision about employees re-entering the building.
Tvrdy did not know how many employees were evacuated.
