GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Charges against former Cedar Rapids Washington prep A.J. Puk and another Florida baseball player were reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor, according to The Gainesville Sun.
Puk and Kirby Snead were arrested for trespassing in a construction site and both were suspended from the Gators' nationally ranked baseball team.
Puk, who leads Florida with six wins, and Snead are being offered a deferred prosecution agreement, according to The Sun, which would mean fines and/or community service and a clean record.
