Central City man hospitalized after crash, condition unknown

Authorities are releasing any updates on the Central City man hospitalized after a motorcycle crash in Jones County on Thursday night.
The Jones County Sheriff's Office reports Steve Deaver, 45, crashed his motorcycle on Ridge Road in Anamosa before 9 p.m. on Thursday. Deaver was airlifted to St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids and later transferred to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Neither Jones County officials nor UI personnel had any update on Deaver's condition.
The sheriff's office has charged with failure to maintain control and operating while intoxicated.
