Cedar Rapids woman charged with prostitution at Coralville motel

A 37-year-old Cedar Rapids woman has been arrested for prostitution in Coralville.
Debra K. Voshell, of 1635 B Ave. NE Apt. 3, was arrested at an unknown motel in Coralville shortly after 1 p.m. Sunday by the Johnson County Sheriff's Office.
According to complaint reports, during a prostitution investigation Voshell agreed to send a “young girl” to a motel to meet with an undercover officer posing as “John.”
When Voshell arrived at the agreed location, there was a conversation in which she agreed to perform sex acts in exchange for money.
Prostitution is punishable by up to two years in prison and a fine of up to $6,250.
Voshell sits in the Johnson County Jail on a $5,000 cash-only bond.
