Cedar Rapids stabbing victim not cooperating with police
UPDATE: Police say a man who was stabbed Thursday evening is not cooperating with investigators.
Cordero Seals, 22, of Iowa City, walked into a fire station around 9:45 p.m. and said he had been stabbed in the 4000 block of 20th Avenue SW at Westdale Court Apartments, police said.
Seals' injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
Police were still sorting through the details. Sgt. Cristy Hamblin said Seals' story has changed a few times during their interviews.
Witnesses said the suspect came from the apartments holding a knife. No arrests have been made, and Seals was unable to provide a description of the suspect, police said.
Police are continuing to investigate.
