Cedar Rapids shooting: Man received “life-threatening gunshot wound” after argument
CEDAR RAPIDS - A shooting at a house party in Cedar Rapids ended with emergency responders taking a man to the hospital with serious injuries - and to police asking for help to find a suspect.
Police say they were called out to a house in the 700 block of 15th Street SE just before 3 a-m Saturday.
Investigators say they found an adult male, whom they believe to be about 28 years of age, with a life-threatening gunshot wound.
Police say there was a large house party, where an argument spilled into the street and one person was shot.
At this time, Cedar Rapids police have not announced any arrests and they are encouraging the public to reach them with more details on what happened.
