Cedar Rapids RoughRiders remain atop USHL power rankings

CEDAR RAPIDS — The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders remain atop this month's United States Hockey League power rankings, the league announced Wednesday.
USA Hockey magazine sponsors the monthly poll of 13 media members who cover the USHL. The Gazette's Jeff Johnson is one of the voters.
Cedar Rapids went into Wednesday night's home game against Muskegon with a 31-12-3 record, its 65 standings points the most in the league. The RoughRiders received seven of the 13 first-place votes, with Dubuque getting the other six.
The Fighting Saints come in second in the power rankings, followed by Green Bay, Tri-City and Lincoln.
