Cedar Rapids police seek suspects in school break-in
Oct. 8, 2010 10:25 am
The Cedar Rapids Police Department and Linn County Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help in solving a break-in at a Cedar Rapids school this summer.
On July 15, 2010, at about 2:30 am, a black male was caught on camera, throwing a rock through the glass door at Metro High School, 1212 Seventh St. SE. This subject then went into the library where he used a ladder to attempt to steal a big screen TV hanging from the ceiling.
The subject did not get away with the TV because he dropped the TV, breaking it, and he ended up leaving empty-handed.
Throughout the building, the subject used his red shirt to cover his face. This photo is the only one in which his face was uncovered.
If you have information regarding this or any crime, call Linn County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-CR-CRIME. If the information you give leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a reward. All calls are anonymous.
