Cedar Rapids police respond to robbery at Wells Fargo Bank
CEDAR RAPIDS - Police responded to a report of a robbery at a northwest Cedar Rapids bank Saturday afternoon.
The robbery was reported at Wells Fargo Bank at 3406 F Avenue NW at 12:24 p.m. The suspect, or suspects, left with an undetermined amount of money, according to a news release from the Cedar Rapids Police Department.
Authorities say a weapon was not shown, and there were no injuries.
This is the first reported bank robbery of the year in Cedar Rapids.
The crime remains under investigation.
