Cedar Rapids police release video of Days Inn robbers

The Cedar Rapids Police Department has released a brief video clip as they continue to look for two robbers who stole money from a Cedar Rapids motel Feb. 14.

The robbery happened at the Days Inn, 2215 Blairs Ferry Rd. NE, just before midnight Feb. 14.  Police said two subjects entered the motel and robbed a front desk clerk at gunpoint.  No one was hurt.

Police describe the robbers as two black males.  The first was about 6 feet 1 inch tall with a large build, weighing about 200 pounds.  He was wearing dark clothing and a dark hooded coat.  The clerk said the second suspect was wearing dark clothing as well, but there was no further description.
