Cedar Rapids police looking for assistance identifying man in stolen vehicle case

The Cedar Rapids Police Department is looking for public assistance in identifying a man who is a 'person of interest” in a stolen vehicle investigation.
According to a media release from the Cedar Rapids police, the person in question that police want identified is from surveillance footage taken on May 19.
Police are asking that anyone who can identify the individual in the surveillance photographs to call the Cedar Rapids Police Department at (319) 286-5532 or Linn County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-CS-CRIME (272-7463) or text CRIMES (274637) and in the message/subject, type 5227 and their tip. They say someone who comes forward with info can continue to trade information with an investigator, and can text STOP to opt out at any time.
