Cedar Rapids police investigating suspicious death
UPDATE: Police found a 24-year-old woman dead Thursday inside a southwest Cedar Rapids home, but there were no signs to indicate what happened.
The death of Mackenzie Ervin, 24, at 158 Mayden Ave. SW is considered suspicious, police said. She lived at the address, but it wasn't immediately known whether she lived there alone.
“Nobody witnessed the death,” said Sgt. Cristy Hamblin, a police spokeswoman.
Hamblin said investigators did not find anything to indicate how Erin died. An autopsy has been scheduled, and investigators are hoping it reveals more clues.
