Cedar Rapids police investigating report of shots fired
CEDAR RAPIDS - Police are investigating a report of shots fired near the intersection of 16th Street SE and Bever Avenue Tuesday.
Officers say the call came in at 7:30 p.m. and no injuries were reported, though a house in the 300 block of 16th Street was hit.
Police cars blocked off 16th Street between Bever Avenue and Fourth Avenue SE while officers investigated. They found shell casings at the scene.
No arrests had been made as of 9 p.m.
