Cedar Rapids murder trial rescheduled again

The first-degree murder trial of Jason Blackcloud, 34, of Cedar Rapids, has been reset to July 26.
He is accused of beating to death Jerry Hurt, 46, of Cedar Rapids, last year. Police said Blackcloud, riding his bicycle, struck Hurt in the head with a piece of pipe.
Sixth Judicial District Robert Sosalla said in his order that there would be no more continuances in this case. The trial has been reset several times.
