Cedar Rapids murder case featured on truTV tonight

A Cedar Rapids murder case will be featured on a nationally televised cable show Friday.
The murder of Christina Sanoubane on Sept. 4, 2000 will be the subject of 'Forensic Files' on truTV at 9 p.m. Friday. Carloss Robinson was convicted of first-degree murder in her death and sentenced to life in prison.
Robinson, 30, was guilty of stabbing Sanoubane, 20, during the night of Sept. 3, 2000, at her duplex apartment at 818 10th St. SW. She lived in the front apartment of the duplex; Robinson and his family lived in the back.
Sanoubane's body was found in the bathtub of her home.
In a news release, police said the conviction was based on good police work. Officers and investigators who dealt with the case are included in the segment.
The program on truTV can be found on Mediacom channel 77, ImOn channel 72, Dish Network channel 204 and DirecTV channel 246.
