Cedar Rapids man charged in Hills Bank robbery

A Cedar Rapids man was charged Friday in federal court for robbing Hills Bank in May.

Jacob Mack, 24, was charged with one count of bank robbery. According to the indictment, he is accused of taking $6,380 from the downtown bank May 2.

If convicted, Mack faces up to 20 years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.

Mack is held without bond pending trial set Aug. 4, in U.S. District Court
