Cedar Rapids man charged for firing gun near woman, children
CEDAR RAPIDS – A Cedar Rapids man was arrested for discharging a gun around a woman and her young children Saturday.
Aaron L. Jackson, 21, of 1507 Fourth Ave. SE, is charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon. He is accused of firing off rounds in the area of several residents, including Amelia Robertson and her young children, according to a criminal complaint filed in Linn County District Court.
Police said Jackson was in the area of his residence, when he fired the gun Saturday evening. Jackson was taken to the Linn County Jail.
