CEDAR RAPIDS - Infinity Contact, a Cedar Rapids company that provides back office services to businesses, has spun off its global unit.
Steve Griggs, most recently president of Infinity Contact, will be leaving his role with the company to become the sole owner and CEO of Infinity Global, a company that was established in 2008.
Griggs and Infinity Global will develop domestic and international opportunities in business process outsourcing.
Tom Leidigh, CEO of Infinity Contact, said the spinoff of Infinity Global comes at an appropriate time for Infinity Contact.
'Steve and I have for years focused our attention on growing Infinity Contact and the company's Buyerlytics model and processes,” Leidigh said in a news release. 'With our success in developing these initiatives, the timing is right for expansion on both a domestic and global front.”
Leidigh said the two companies will operate as fully independent organizations, sharing services when appropriate.
In the same news release, Griggs said he believes the opportunity to grow a global presence has never been better.
'I'm excited about leveraging my expertise in operational consulting across a broad range including training, technology, customer service and sales,” Griggs said. 'There are many local companies that we would enjoy partnering with to help them grow their business.”
Infinity Contact, 4700 Tama Street Dr. SE, works with Fortune companies on strategies to attract and retain customers. Buyerlytics is the company's proprietary approach to tactical deployment of sales resources based on analytics, preferences and budgets.
