Burlington Stores moves job fair
Burlington Stores has changed the dates and location of its job fair to fill 75 positions at its new Cedar Rapids store.
The retailer will accept applications from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 17, and Thursday, Aug. 18, as well as 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, Aug. 19, at The Hotel at Kirkwood Center, 7725 Kirkwood Blvd. SW, Cedar Rapids.
Burlington had announced it would hold a job fair Thursday and Friday, Aug. 11 and Aug. 12, at the store in Westdale, 3475 Westdale Dr. SW, but construction crews still are putting final touches on the 40,400-square-foot building.
Burlington is planning to open the store in September. It will be the company's first store in the Corridor and third in Iowa.
