Burglary suspect allegedly stole change from car

A Cedar Rapids man was arrested this week for allegedly stealing the change tray from a parked vehicle.
Cedar Rapids police say Deontralius Parrow, 19, entered a parked truck on Wednesday night and took a tray of change. The vehicle's owner reportedly confronted Parrow and Parrow returned the tray to the truck. When Parrow found out police were headed to the scene, he shoved the truck owner and fled. Police arrived shortly thereafter and arrested Parrow.
Parrow faces a 3rd degree burglary charge. Online court records show a handful of previous charges, including other burglary charges, criminal mischief, and theft.
